Maintenance of common failures of pneumatic vibrators

1. The vibrator runs too slowly/vibration power is too low

1. New installation:

The vibrator needs to work for more than 15 minutes to reach full power. Because the excessive grease or rust inhibitor inside must be completely drained.

Adjust the pressure regulator to increase the vibrator speed.

Check whether the air supply pipe is connected to the intake port or the exhaust port (marked by an arrow).

Check whether the hose is bent.

Check whether the diameter of the air supply pipe is large enough or not too long. Also check the diameter of the valve used.

Check whether there are too many gas consuming components connected to the same gas supply pipe at the same time. Gas consumption components should be selectively turned on.

2. Installed:

Remove the muffler or exhaust pipe. If the vibrator works normally without them, the muffler or exhaust pipe may be blocked by dust. Clean with gasoline (or kerosene) or replace with new ones.

Check whether there is dust accumulation in the in-line filter, whether the air supply pipe is rusty, and monks particles may block the filter.

Check for leaks in the air supply pipe and confirm that the air compressor can work normally. Check whether the hose is bent.

The oil of the vibrator will stick. Add a few drops of gasoline (or kerosene) from the air inlet to remove sticking.

Check the vibrator for dust accumulation. If yes, clean with gasoline (or kerosene).

2. Excessive noise at work

The sound frequency is very high:

The vibrator may work too fast or the installation rigidity is too high. Reduce the air pressure and adjust the vibrator to its best operating frequency. The ball of the ball vibrator wears out to increase the frequency and reduce the vibration force. Cracking sound, check whether the screw of the vibrator is firmly installed. If the feed channel and hopper are empty, turn off the air supply. In the case of a runner vibrator, the ball bearings may wear.
